You mission:
As Senior QA Engineer (gn), you will be taking care of core training, automation and maintenance tasks. You will train and support your team in the adaption of Xray, BDD and Gherkin as well as other QA relevant topics. You are transforming customer E2E use cases into Xray test cases and automate them. Therefore, you are always in contact with QA Engineers from other teams to maintain the test pipeline and test framework.

Your responsibilities
- Your aim is to understand the individual customer processes and translate them into Xray test cases using Gherkin
- You will be responsible for the automation of the customer processes in CodeceptJS
- By being in constant dialogue with our QA engineers within our development teams you will proactively support them using the test framework
- You will maintain and extend the test pipeline and test frameworks
- You will be the expert and driver to bring BDD to our teams using Xray with Gherkin
- You will take care of special test tasks like performance or XSS testing
- You will be using the Behaviour Driven Development approach with Gherkin for describing story acceptance criteria and test scenarios in a unified way
- You empower other team members in the correct use of Xray
Our requirements
- You have a degree or an apprenticeship with a focus on information technology
- You take a holistic view of QA and have high standards for code quality
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience with unit, component and system testing
- You have solid programming experience in languages like Java, PHP, or JavaScript
- You are familiar with tools & frameworks like Gherkin, CodeceptJS, Puppeteer, JIRA, Jenkins etc.
- Your experience with API testing and automation frameworks will help you succeed in your role
- You are a driver of new ideas and like being supportive and sharing your knowledge with others
- You feel confident in communicating in German or English and you like working in an international environment
