Your mission:
As a Software Developer PHP (gn), you will continuously optimize the performance of our software and expand automated release processes as well as quality assurance together with your team. In this way, you support us in achieving our next growth steps and drive us forward as a top provider of software solutions in the energy industry.

At our innovative IT campus in Achern, our headquarters, we combine modern work and sustainable living on the edge of the Black Forest. |
Leipzig
The office in Leipzig is within walking distance, in a direct central location, only 1.5 km from the main train station with excellent connections to the public transport network. |
Berlin
Our Berlin office is located only 1.5 km from the Tiergarten, and thus in an ideal central location. |
Your responsibilities
- You design the core architecture and new features of the software and permanently improve the performance and usability of the software.
- You take responsibility for the services of your team and design the technology of our modules.
- You optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Together with your team, you expand the automated release processes (continuous integration) and quality assurance.
Our requirements
- Coding is your passion!
- You “speak” PHP and have at least 3 years of practical experience as a software developer in the back-end.
- You are familiar with frameworks like Symfony, Laravel or Zend.
- You are familiar with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- You’re good with web services technologies like REST and SOAP.
- You like to take responsibility and work in an agile team with SCRUM model.
- You feel confident in communicating in English and have a desire to work in an international environment.

- PHP 7.4 / PHP 8 with PHPStorm as development environment
- Symfony 5.4 as framework
- MVC software architecture
- PHPUnit and Codeception as test frameworks
- MySQL and MariaDB or AuroraDB in the Amazon AWS Cloud
- Atlassian development tools (Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo, Jira)
