ene’t GmbH is an independent system house for the German energy industry, which provides municipal utilities, regional suppliers, and integrated groups with industry-specific software solutions, web services and databases.
Web service package grid fee calculation (electricity/gas)
Anyone who sells electricity and gas nationwide needs to know the individual external cost situation at the customer’s premises to prepare competitive offers on the one hand and to avoid falling short on the other. The ene’t web service packages for calculating grid charges for electricity and gas support energy distributors in calculating tariffs that are accurate to the house number, as well as in preparing and checking invoices from the respective distribution grid and metering point operators. The data output is closely based on the structure of standardized business objects of the Interessengemeinschaft Geschäftsobjekte Energiewirtschaft e. V. (Energy Industry Business Objects Interest Group), which also ensures smooth integration into compatible software products.
Customers can use the web services to determine the current grid usage tariff and the associated grid usage costs (grid fee, metering prices, levies, concession fee, and taxes for standard load profile customers and power-metered consumers) for any German location or grid operator at any location in Germany. An address and other parameters to characterize the consumption situation are used as input. The output includes labor and power prices as well as metering costs and imputed surcharges. The web service package can be used to determine the grid tariff and grid costs for both the SLP and RLM areas. Any changing market partners and grid charges for longer periods are also taken into account.
Grid utilization database
The web service packages for determining grid charges (electricity/gas) are based on the contents of the ene’t grid utilization database (electricity) and the ene’t grid utilization database (gas). The collection of data is based on a TÜV-certified procedure. The content is always up to date and provides detailed information for everyday business processes.
The ene’t grid utilization databases contain:
