E-world 2025 was a complete success! With a new record of around 33,000 trade visitors and 980 exhibitors, the leading trade fair for the energy industry once again became the central meeting place for the sector. In addition to valuable new contacts, we were able to meet numerous customers, partners and long-standing companions in person.
The trade fair also once again provided a first-class platform for keeping up to date with the latest developments in the industry and gathering ideas for the future:
The energy sector is undergoing rapid digital change. Automation, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies are playing a central role in this and are significantly driving the transformation of the industry. At the same time, sustainability remains the dominant issue – companies are increasingly turning to more environmentally friendly and efficient solutions to actively shape the energy transition. However, all these developments are only possible through close cooperation: strategic partnerships between technology providers, utilities and regulators are proving to be essential to successfully shaping the future of the energy industry.
Joint appearance with Hansen Technologies
powercloud shared a booth with its parent company Hansen Technologies for the first time this year. Under the motto ‘Empowering Utilities with Billing Excellence’, we presented practical solutions for key challenges in the energy industry at booth 3G100 in hall 3. Our trade fair appearance covered a wide range of topics – from customer billing and market communication to energy trading and energy data management.
In addition to the powercloud trade fair team, numerous Hansen colleagues from Australia, Finland and Norway were on hand, along with our new managers for the DACH market, Sebastian Kleinke (Country Manager Germany) and Dr. Harald Varel (VP Software Delivery Germany). The trade fair provided the perfect opportunity for initial face-to-face meetings and an intensive exchange of ideas.

In numerous showcases, we showed how our solutions meet the increasing demands for scalability, automation and regulatory compliance. Visitors were given practical insights into topics such as dynamic tariffs, multi-utility billing, API gateways and an outlook on the implementation of 24-hour supplier change in the powercloud. In addition, Hansen presented its expertise in handling large volumes of energy data to seamlessly automate trading, balancing, billing and settlement processes and enable analysis-driven optimisation of short-term asset class trading with its utilities solutions Hansen Trade, Hansen EDM and Hansen MDM.

The synergies from our ongoing integration into Hansen Technologies are opening up new possibilities – an impression that visitors to E-world have already been able to experience first hand.
