ALPHARETTA, Ga., May 03, 2022 – powercloud, the cloud customer information system (CIS) and billing software for the energy and utilities industry, today announced a partnership with ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), the global leader in mission-critical, real-time payments software. The pre-integrated ACI Speedpay and powercloud CIS Billing system enhances the customer experience by providing utility companies with a cloud-based billing, payment and bill presentment solution out-of-the-box.
The combined solution benefits the utility company by providing a tightly integrated end-to-end CIS with electronic bill presentment and payment solutions. It also gives consumers the billing, payment and communications options they want, whether emerging payment methods such as Apple Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay, or cash payments made in-lane at one of thousands of retail locations. Paying with a mobile wallet is a popular option, with nearly half (49 percent) of consumers saying they would consider paying a bill this way, according to the latest ACI Speedpay Pulse Study.
