(powercloud, Offenburg, 05/18/2021) How quickly can a comprehensive e-commerce platform for utilities be configured and the marketing of energy products extensively digitized? powercloud and the energy utility badenova are currently providing an impressive answer with a new white-label platform (WLP) in the powerApp store: Users can simply add the all-in-one solution to powercloud’s core functions and immediately start to configure their e-commerce platform – without lengthy project durations or interface problems. The solution is available “out of the box” within a short time. This opens up far-reaching opportunities for utilities, as the WLP contains extensive self-service functions and facilitates the cross-selling and upselling of new types of bundled products, for example. “We have already been successfully collaborating with powercloud since 2016 and have thoroughly tailored our technology to suit the platform. Modern interfaces provide the technological basis for doing so. All the processes are also consistently conceived from the customer’s point of view and mapped in a fully automated manner,” explains Dirk Fleischer, Private Customer Sales department at badenova. “Utilities thus benefit from an all-in-one solution that allows end customers full access to their master data while offering tailored product and service packages.” The latter also applies to new types of product bundles consisting of electricity rates and smartphones or other non-commodity products, for example. The WLP handles the entire order process in this case: the customer sees “their” product bundle in the portal, places an order with a few clicks and is then informed about the order status, including DHL tracking code. Associated logistics processes are automatically carried out in the back end. Even the credit check and validation of the bank details take place within the WLP.
